Stephanie is the inspiration, the passion and the driving force behind Aubergine Physio. She is a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist specialising in Men’s Health. As the Director of Aubergine Physio Ltd, a new groundbreaking clinic in Cheltenham that focuses on providing specialised care for men. Stephanie is also the Director and Advanced MSK Physiotherapist at Pea Green Physio, clinics in both Bicester & Cheltenham, she has established a reputation for excellence in the field of Physiotherapy.

With a career spanning 25 years, Stephanie has worked in various prestigious settings, including the Ministry of Defence, where she specialised in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy within Army establishments. She spent twelve years as a Physiotherapist for the GB Gymnastics and Trampolining Teams, accompanying them to National, World, and European Championships across the globe. Since 2003, Stephanie has been working in physiotherapy private practice, consistently delivering exceptional care to her patients.

In 2022, Stephanie decided to shift her career focus to Men’s Health Specialist Physiotherapy and Focus Shockwave therapy, following extensive training with industry experts Gerard Greene, Benoy Mathew and Venn Healthcare, Stephanie is now fully trained and qualified to address a range of specific sexual health issues affecting men, from erectile dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) to post prostatectomy rehabilitation.  This new direction aligns with her passion for helping individuals lead pain-free lives, reclaiming her patients confidence and restoring intimacy in their private lives.

Stephanie’s expertise extends beyond her physiotherapy practice. She had the privilege of serving as a Physiotherapist Gamesmaker at the London 2012 Olympics for Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, as well as within the Polyclinic at the Athletes Village during the Paralympics. She was also part of the UK Team of Physiotherapists accompanying ex and current injured Military personnel to the Invictus Games in Orlando, FL, USA, in May 2016.

Outside of her professional achievements, Stephanie is a qualified RYA 200 Ashtanga Yoga Instructor and an APPI Matwork Pilates Instructor, additionally Stephanie has obtained training in Strength & Conditioning  with the UKSCA. This training elevates Stephanie’s understanding and teaching of breathing techniques, pelvic floor strengthening and rehabilitation.  Stephanie’s dedication to her craft and genuine care for her patients make her a trusted and sought-after healthcare professional.

Stephanie’s passion for health and well-being extends beyond her work environment. When she’s not at Aubergine Physio, you can find her engaged in activities like lifting weights, attending yoga classes, and exploring new destinations. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Mat, and their daughter, Berry, as well as creating cherished memories with friends.

Stephanie’s accomplishments have been recognised throughout her career. In 2013, she was voted the most Inspirational Woman Business Owner at the Banbury Women in Business awards. Additionally, she has received numerous accolades, including the Start-Up Company Winner at the Bicester Business Awards in 2010.

Stephanie holds a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy (1998) from UWE, Bristol and a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine (2000). She is a qualified APPI Pilates Matwork Instructor (2003) and an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Instructor (2016). Stephanie’s commitment to professional growth is evident in her pursuit of advanced certifications. She is a member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).

Stephanie has shared her expertise as a physiotherapy expert on The Chrissy B Show on SKY TV (July 2013) and BBC Oxford Radio (throughout 2013). She has undertaken over 75 post-graduate Physio courses, continually expanding her knowledge and staying at the forefront of her field.
